Trans States is expected to receive 2 aircraft per month starting April 2015. These aircraft come as the new American continues to shrink Envoy(Formerly known as American Eagle). With these additional aircraft deliveries Trans States will see significant growth next year as they seek to bring United ERJ 145 aircraft on property as well.
The airline currently operates 28 aircraft. With the total aircraft deliveries expected and if none of the existing aircraft retire, Trans States could see their airline almost triple in size over the next year and a half, a feet not as easily accomplished as winning and announcing the orders. The next year and a half should prove interesting as Trans States mobilizes training resources for this unprecedented growth.
Trans States Pilot Demand numbers have been updated to reflect this new announcement.
